Virgil Abloh previewed plenty of upcoming releases at Paris Fashion Week.

From Louis Vuitton, he led with a new low top that’s keenly similar to the Air Jordan 2 Low from 1987. With Off-White, he displayed a high top take on the ODSY-1000 and of course the Off-White x Futura x Nike Dunk Low. Back to his day job, the Louis Vuitton 508 Trainer sees another ’80s homage.

Previewed in Paris by Don C and Ibn Jasper, the 508 is eerily similar to last year’s 408 Trainer which also borrowed heavily from ’80s basketball. Differences are fairly minimal, with suede styling, lack of strap, a cushioned collar and loud tongue branding proving the main updates.

Stay tuned to Nice Kicks for a release date. Debut timing would suggest a Spring/Summer 2020 arrival but it could be sooner.
