9. Nike “Dr. Funk & the Roswell Rayguns (2002)

During the 70s, the NBA was pretty much a desolate league that incurred numerous moments of financial instability and organizational dysfunction. Despite the adverse circumstances, many iconic moments and stars derived from that era. In 2002, Nike faced the dilemma of not having one singular superstar along the likes of MJ or Penny, that they could ultimately promote. However, that didn’t stop them from producing a brilliant advertisement as they featured several Nike-endorsed stars to play for the fictional ABA Roswell Rayguns.
