The 10 Best Kicks On Court This Week

As the end of January approaches, the 2019 All-Star Weekend is a matter of weeks away. The starters were recently announced for both the East and the West. While the reserves are yet to be named, the pool of ten players thus far has us excited for the heat they plan to bring to Charlotte.

In the meantime, this week’s Top 10 Kicks On Court brought some memorable gems from 2011-2014, a handful of retro LeBrons and even a fire custom courtesy of The Shoe Surgeon.

10. Nike KD 6 “DC”

+ The pair originally released in 2014 for $130 heading into All-Star break

9. Nike Zoom LeBron 3 “Metallic Gold”

+ The King’s third signature shoe donned in black and gold saw a rerelease in 2018 after going dormant since its original 2006 release
+ The pair features a leather upper and a large Zoom unit with a Pebax shell to keep your foot in place

8. Nike KD 6 Supreme “D.C. Preheat”

+ The Nike KD 6 was truly in its storytelling bag as the upper features striped pattern overlaying on top of KD’s home state of Maryland
+ Schroder has been keeping the KD line alive in OKC as he’s a fan of numerous KD 6s and 7s

7. Nike Kobe 9 Elite High “BHM”

+ The Nike Kobe 9 Elite High is composed of Flyknit, Flywire and Lunarlon as Nike pushed more tech onto the Kobe signature line
+ The “BHM” collection from 2015 featured the Kobe 9 Elite High, the Kyrie 1, the KD 7 and the LeBron 12

6. Nike Zoom LeBron 3 “Superman”

+ The “Superman” PEs came in both blue and red colorways

5. CDG x Supreme x Air Jordan 3 “Tinker” Custom by The Shoe Surgeon

+ Premium customizer The Shoe Surgeon and PJ Tucker have a solid relationship as he graced Tucker a custom pair of Off-White x Nike Hyperdunks during the 2018 playoffs
+ The pair is a hypebeast’s dream as Comme des Garçons and Supreme collide on top of the Air Jordan 3 “JTH”

4. Nike Zoom Kobe 5 “Big Stage”

3. Nike LeBron 9 “Christmas”

+ The LeBron 9 was ahead of its time as it featured Zoom, an Air unit and Flywire as it was designed for The King’s fast-paced and exhilarating game
+ The Christmas pack from 2011 featured the LeBron 9 alongside the Kobe 7 “Cheetah,” the KD Zoom 4 “Metallic Bronze” and Amar’e Stoudemire’s Air Max “Sweep Thru Christmas” PE

2. Nike Zoom Kobe 6 “Rice”

+ The Nike Kobe 6 upper features a scale-like pattern as it embodies Kobe’s “Mamba” nickname
+ The “Rice” PE was an exclusive pair for the Harlem-based high school. The Kobe 6 also hit Bryant’s alma matter of Lower Merion which Harris also rocked earlier this season

1. Nike Zoom LeBron 3 “Glow In The Dark”
