“We Are Not The Same” (iDs/PEs)

You have to stand out, and the best way a player can do that is to wear a shoe no one else has. Player exclusives and 1-of-1 creations are the topic of discussion when it comes to the uniqueness of the Kicks On Court column. Paul George, the biggest player in this category, faithfully wore Kobe VII iDs for a long stretch of games this season, including the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest and the first round of the NBA Playoffs. A couple of them, pictured above and below, feature Pacers color schemes in gradient and two-tone form.

Another notable is J.R. Smith’s iD Huarache 2K4. We only show you one here, but if you look through pages and pages of our Kicks On Court column, you’ll see that Mr. J.R. hit the MSG court in an abundance of them throughout the second half of the year.
