To deadstock means to lose in our Kicks On Court column. Wear what you buy (or what you’re given in this sense), and wear it as quick as you can. Everybody pays attention to the player/person that wears a highly-anticipated shoe before everybody else, especially if the debut takes place well before the actual, general release. The “Metallic Red” Foam was one of the most anticipated shoes of the year, and Nick Young’s debut in these served as one of the biggest statements this season.
