Air Jordan 6

Models: Air Jordan 6 “Pistons” and Air Jordan 6 “Lakers”
Year Released: 2010

With Michael Jordan securing his first title in the Air Jordan 6, it seemed rather seamless for the Jordan Brand to create various commemorative colorways. This couldn’t have been any more evident than back in 2010, as two team-specific iterations of the Air Jordan 6 arrived at retailers. First off, the “Pistons” model featured a mostly black aesthetic with accompanying accents of red and blue throughout. In addition, the “Lakers” silhouette employed a similarly dark aesthetic as well having varying hints of purple and gold throughout.

Michael and the Bulls would defeat the Detroit Pistons and the Los Angeles Lakers to secure MJ’s first championship and subsequently begin the Bulls’ dynasty during the 90s.
