Having already incorporated his design cues on the Air Jordan 35, 36, 37, and Air Jordan 8, Japanese athlete Rui Hachimura has once again been tapped by Jordan Brand, this time for the Air Jordan 38.

Set to release in December, the upcoming Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 38 is injected with design cues nodding to Hachimura’s Japanese roots such as the embroidered heels boasting cherry blossoms and Japanese motifs. Even the pair’s colorway opts for auspicious hues of photon dust, mint foam, siren red, and off-noir. Of course, Hachimura’s personal branding can be found spotlighted on the left shoe. Rounding out the final design cues are the black Cushlon 3.0 foam midsoles marked with white paint splatter and the translucent mint foam outsole.

Interested readers can purchase the Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 38 when it is released this December via Nike.com and select retailers for $210. Keep it locked to our Air Jordan Release Dates Calendar for updates.
