Japanese Cranes Adorn the Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 36

Washington Wizards athlete Rui Hachimura has already inspired a number of Jordan Brand silhouettes including the Jordan Series 01 and the Air Jordan 8 SE. The baller’s Japanese heritage continues to come to life on the all-new Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 36.

Compared to all the previous Hachimura sneakers, this Air Jordan 36 is the most ornate homage to Japanese culture. The sneaker has a Black base that features gorgeous cranes and cherry blossoms embroidered on the upper. Cranes symbolize good fortune and longevity in Japan with cherry blossoms symbolizing human life, transience, and nobleness. The midsole is complete with “Jade Smoke” and sits atop a “Vintage Green” outsole. The sneaker has “Track Red” trim around the eyestay, midsole, and tongue. The laces are paired with an extended pull tab that feature the Jumpman and Hachimura logo in “Metallic Gold.” More “Metallic Gold” details appear on the inside of the tongue, Kanji pull tab, and Nike Air branding on the heel. A full-length Zoom strobel setup with a shank plate is utilized for stability and rigidity in the sneaker on the court.

The Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 36 “Cranes” is set to drop on September 30th exclusively in the APLA region (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Philippines, and Singapore). Take a look at the sneaker below and follow @NiceDrops on Instagram for all the latest drop dates.
