It’s one thing to have a twin, it’s another for you and your twin to both play college football together. It’s a whole other feat when you and your twin are considered two of the best interior lineman in the NFL. Mike and Maurkice Pouncey have both solidified themselves as prominent focal points within their respective offensive lines. And while they both may share similar interests, only one center can be chosen for our roster, and that is Maurkice.
The Pittsburgh center’s season was cut short last year due to a knee injury, but this Florida native has seemingly taken on some Pittsburgh pride by repping Aliquippa’s own Darrelle Revis in the Nike Zoom Revis, as seen below. Pouncey also incorporates various Nike trainers into his workout regimen, while donning rare Air Jordans during nights out on the town.
Though the center position lacked some competition, it’s fitting that the two bothers are vouching for the spot on our All-22 roster. It’ll be interesting to see if Mike subsequently supplants Maurkice in the near future.
