Nice Kicks All-22: The NFL’s Top Sneakerheads on Offense

Besides the Matthews clan, the Long family seems to be primed to be THE family in the NFL. Howie Long anchored the Raiders’ defense during the ’70s and ’80s, later providing the NFL with two sons that are among the best in the league at their respective positions. The Long’s are building a solid lineage. However, one Long in particular makes our All-22 by anchoring the guard position of sneakerheads, and that is Kyle Long of the Chicago Bears.

For starters, Long took in a celebratory first pitch in the “Oregon” 5s that many of the former Ducks have sported, while also showing off his “Bugs Bunny” Air Jordan 8s during karaoke with fellow teammates. Despite his obvious love of Air Jordans, Long shows love to the new legends by rocking a crisp pair of LeBron 11 “Everglades” during a youth football camp.

Kyle Long may ultimately be the most unexpected member of our All-22 series, but his stellar play this past season, in addition to his kick game being amongst the best in his position, has created some solid credibility. Hopefully he can follow up with another Pro-Bowl season and continue to anchor the Bears’ offensive line.
