Whether you find him quirky, eccentric, or any other adjectives that would denote nontraditional NFL players, Martellus Bennett would more than likely fit the description. Better known as ‘Marty B’ to those familiar with his time in Dallas, Bennett has proven to be a solid pass catching tight end for the Chicago Bears. Bennett helped assist the Bears’ aerial attack with 65 catches and 759 receiving yards this past season.
While his on-the-field prowess gets him exposure on ESPN, his sneaker selection makes him poised to be the tight end on our All-22 Team. Bennett has been known to rock a variety of sneakers, ranging from Ewings to Ricardo Tisci AF1s and some other gems, as seen below.
It’s evident that Bennett seems to be a huge fan of the culture, as previous stints interning for the popular street wear brand Young & Reckless have been documented in hilarious video shorts. Going forward, it’ll be interesting to see how the culture of Chicago may change Bennett.
