Nike Air Jet Flight Black/Zinc
The Nike Air Jet Flight was a pioneer in the low-top basketball shoe movement. As a convertible hoop shoe lover, the Jet Flights were my go-to early on. Unfortunately, feet grow. Now I can’t find a pair in my size of this colorway anywhere. It’s not that they are too expensive, they probably have the cheapest market value on this list, it’s just that they are extremely rare, especially in playable condition without a broken eyestay or frayed straps. Steve Nash’s unofficial signature shoe is, in my opinion, one of the best basketball shoes ever created, and the Black/Zinc style code is the exact colors of my alma mater, Oakland University. I browse eBay and various resell outlets daily to see if a pair ever surfaces. If I ever catch a hoopable pair in a 10.5, let’s just say that I won’t be outbid.
