Air Jordan “Oregon” Collection
I have a feeling I am beginning to sound like a broken record in these posts, but that doesn’t change the fact that most of the shoes I want, but don’t own, are of the “Oregon” PE variety. I grew up going to Oregon football and basketball games with my dad. I cheered on the basketball team as a member of the Pit Crew all of the four years I attended the University of Oregon. I spent Saturdays at Autzen cheering the Ducks to big wins and a Rose Bowl birth. To say that I am a fan of the Ducks feels like a grand understatement. So much of my life, and so many of my memories, are tied to Eugene, the U of O, and the many sports teams I supported while there (and that I continue to support). I can’t say I would spend a small fortune on any of these sneakers – I’ve had the chance to purchase at least one in my size but passed due to the exorbitant price tag. Perhaps, one day, I will have a chance to add a pair to my collection, to wear on game days and make more memories in. Either way, the amalgamation of passions these shoes represent for me will always make them my holy grail sneakers.
