Name: SSgt Mitchell Moss
Branch: United States Air Force
Years in the Service: 8
Originally From: Military Brat; El Paso, TX, Augusta, GA, Germany
Currently Stationed: Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX

Nice Kicks: What is your favorite shoe or model of all time?
SSgt Moss: The Reebok Answer I. I ‘m ready to get my pair later this month.

Nice Kicks: What shoe would you consider your grail or a shoe you regret missing out on?
SSgt Moss: Nike Lebron 8 “Pre-Heat.” I hope to have a pair before the end of this year.

Nice Kicks: What do you attribute your love of sneakers to?
SSgt Moss: Two things. I remember staying with my cousins, and they always had fresh kicks. That was back when you could get fresh kicks from Shoe Carnival. The second thing is my love for sports. As a kid, you bought kicks that your favorite athletes wore.

Nice Kicks: Has being in the military helped or hurt your ability to cop the shoes you want?
SSgt Moss: I’d say it definetly helps. My good friend Taurus back in Panama City has been looking out for me for years. Being Security Forces makes it difficult to camp at times.

Nice Kicks: What is the craziest thing you have done for a pair of kicks?
SSgt Moss: Most recently I took a drive to Houston for All-Star Weekend with a total of one hour of sleep under my belt. I ate at Waffle House, met up with my boys, and waited outside of the House of Hoops until it opened. I did get lucky on the KD V “Christmas” restock, and copped the Lebron X “Extraterrestrial” for my wife.
