Air Jordan 10
The Air Jordan 10 was the second model released during Michael’s sabbatical away from the NBA. With minor input from Michael Jordan, designer Tinker Hatfield wanted to create a model that provided the right amount of adoration towards Michael in homage of his stellar career. Within the Air Jordan 10, we see along the outsole each of MJ’s career accomplishments up until his first retirement. Also, the upper of the model incorporates tumbled leather along with a smooth toe box that was directly influenced by MJ himself. According to many reports, MJ initially hated to first rendering of the Air Jordan 10 due to extra leather along the toe box.
While his input may have been “minimal,” MJ and Tinker designed a crisp and clean silhouette that is within the elite realm of the Air Jordan lineage.
