Nick Young set himself apart from the other nominees in this category. He specifically showed how deep his closet is by wearing a healthy blend of old Kobes, Pennys and LeBrons. Sure, the “Dark Neon Royal” Foams came out last year, but it’s not every day we see a player support his alma mater with a pair of shoes,?wear one of the most underrated sneakers in the Penny line and/or rock an extremely limited LeBron in the form of the “Chamber of Fear” IIs. Young shared with us how he got reacquainted with the latter. “I have my connects,” said Young. “I went to LeBron himself, and he gave them to me. I’m joking [laughs]. My homie found them for me. He said he had them and I was like, ‘For real?’ They’re the Clippers colors, so I had to get those off of him. I needed those. I think he got them from Flight Club.”
