For the first Small Town Sneakerhead of 2022, Nice Kicks met up with Reggie Ward of Lafayette, Louisiana. Reggie gave us the full Southern Hospitality treatment as he showed us his personal sneaker showroom and even took us to a traditional Louisiana seafood boil.
From Nike Air Maxes, to Air Jordan 1s, and even Nike Huaraches, Reggie is longtime collector that got introduced to sneakers by his dad. Now that Reggie is a father himself, he hopes to show his son sneaker culture and help him start a collection of his own.
With his son by his side, Reggie took Nice Kicks over to Hibbett Sports, where he explained how the surrounding sneaker community in Lafayette has grown. Reggie frequents Hibbett Sports as his go-to spot whenever he needs a quick pair of fresh kicks.
