Jordan Brand is putting Washington Wizards forward Rui Hachimura in the spotlight with an upcoming Air Jordan 8 and now he’s also getting his own take on the Jordan Series 01 set to drop later this year.
The lifestyle sneaker features a black upper in different materials ranging from suede to pre-aged leather throughout the sneaker. Red accenting is utilized, with “Dear Rui” stitched on the quarter panel (With Rui in Japanese) and the contrast stitching on the tongue tag that features Rui’s logo. The tongue and eyestay feature a Shoji pattern throughout and Sesame is used on the vulcanized midsole with a red outsole finishing off the sneaker.
