Rick Owens returns to his partnership with Converse as he continues to rework the Chuck Taylor silhouette with exaggerated design elements. The Rick Owens x Converse Chuck 70 DRKSTAR is an all-new design that is a follow up to the TURBODRK Chuck 70 which turned heads with its square-toed design.
The campaign for the DRKSTAR Chuck 70 features fashion influencers, Fecal Matter, in hot pink leather jumpsuits complete with the signature sneaker. The DRKSTAR Chuck 70 comes in high-top and low-cut options, both of which feature an illusionary rounded toe cap. The upper is constructed with heavy-weight 18 oz cotton twill, making for an ultra luxe sneaker. The DRKSTAR Chuck 70 also has an extended tongue which was previously seen on the TURBODRK and TURBOWPN. Staying true to Rick Owens’ signature color palette, buyers will be able to choose between classic black or white.
