Rick Owens has taken a different approach to their sneakers, curating some of footwear’s most unique designs. In large part, the brand’s take on footwear stems from the founder’s time spent in the gym. With the Converse x DRKSHDW TURBOWPN, the luxury brand and Converse revitalize the iconic 1986 Weapons silhouette for the modern runway.
The upcoming sneaker collaboration adds definition to the term “exaggerated,” with the TURBOWPN featuring an elongated tongue, doubled-in-length sole, and reinforced toe-cap. Additionally, the sneaker features a CX Foam drop-in for added comfort. Arriving in a matte-black, the silhouette’s inaugural colorway pays homage to the Weapon’s first ever release.
