PENSOLE World Sneaker Championship Diaries: Day 12

TEAM NIKE

Roster: Sara Jaramillo, Quetzal Ramos, Victoria Adesanmi and Tuan Nguyen (CMF)

Quite an interesting day. In the morning, some of the guys went to buy some markers, tape and gummed paper -I prefer to call it “sticky paper.” We began to make some tape-ups, trying to figure how our projects looked in a three-dimensional way.

Marcus Yam, a photographer from Sports Illustrated, came in today to cover the Pensole experience. He seems pretty surprised for the amount of work we put in. It’s really cool to talk to people with different backgrounds and get their thoughts on our process.

We also had a meeting with the wonderful Suzette Henry, it was colorful, ’cause we discussed the colorways and the stories behind them.

Personally for me it was a busy day, and I have much more work to do. So bye guys, I have to get back to work.
