Switch to New England & The Legacy of the Nike Zoom Revis
After one season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Revis found himself in Boston as a member of the New England Patriots, and subsequently reviving “Revis Island.” Dominating most of their adversaries this season, Revis and company have earned a trip to Super Bowl XLIX. However, the legacy of the Nike Zoom Revis remains up-in-the air due to its untimely inception and lack of continuation.
However, in regards to trainers that are specifically made for NFL players, the Nike Zoom Revis is among the best. With its immense comfort and solid traction, it checks every box from a performance standpoint. In regards to the aesthetics of the model, the Nike Zoom Revis has been apart of plenty of distinct colorways as well as exclusive models that have been created for Shane Victorino and a variety of MLB players. In addition, Revis’ hometown team the Pittsburgh Steelers even have a pair, as John Geiger showcased them within his Instagram account.
While it seems as though the Nike Zoom Revis 2 will not be gracing retail shelves in the near future, the legacy of Darrelle Revis remains strong as his play certainly has him entertaining Hall of Fame candidacy.
