More photos have surfaced of the New Balance BB790 Retro in a Lakers colorway have surfaced, as well as an online outfitter through which to grab them, as Shelta has them now. We first covered these a week ago, as well as three other color-ups.
James Worthy’s signature sneakers grabbed a lot of attention when we showed them. “Big Game James” wore these when he was in Los Angeles, long before the days of Kobe Bryant and his signature sneakers. White leather is used for the super-high uppers, with purple leather on the N logo and near the ankle. Other accents appear in the purple and gold throughout, as well. While these have hit select Newbie retailers, this is our first look at the quality of the materials used. Does this look have you excited for the other expected color-ups? Head to James’ Worthy Player Profile and check out his other choice kicks.
