As expected, there was a bit of a drop off over the weekend from the flurry of special edition and awesome sneakers to hit the hardwood on Christmas Day this past Friday.
Nonetheless, we still saw some surprises around the league, with PJ Tucker pulling out a rare Kobe VI, Brandon Knight going back to the first Crazyquick, Nick Young once again honoring his buddy Gilbert Arenas, and Isaiah Thomas even wearing a recently retroed Nike Basketball classic. LeBron also wore the Doernbecher edition of his 13th model, in a nice nod to the local Children’s Hospital while on the road in Portland.
