| Just like every NBA season, no games are played on New Year’s Day. However, on December 31st, 2008, our Kicks On Court spotted a player starting 2009 off with a few fireworks…literally.
Against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors forward Marco Belinelli hooped in a pair of Air Jordan 3 “Black Cats”. If you recall, this sneaker was the second pair of Jordan’s to receive the “Black Cat” treatment (the Air Jordan 4 was the first in 2006) Although Marco Belinelli is not a Jordan Brand member, he is the first to be spotted in a pair of Air Jordan 3’s this season. On another note, our Kicks On Court spotted Los Angeles Clippers guard Fred Jones hooping in a never-before-seen colorway of the Air Jordan 2.5. During the preseason, we could not get through a Kicks On Court without seeing at least one JB member sporting the Air Jordan 2.5! What do you think about this particular colorway?
