Bonafide “Sneaker U”

During the early 2000s, Duke University was well cemented as being one of the finest universities to showcase some incredible sneakers. With an array of talent comprised of the likes of Luol Deng, Dahantay Jones, Daniel Ewing, Shelden Williams and Chris Duhon, those aforementioned figures would routinely hit the floor in a variety of Air Jordan silhouettes. Ewing and Jones in particular would show an elaborate array of models ranging from the Air Jordan 17s to the Air Jordan 12s.

In fact, this era in Duke history would help pave the way for fellow sneakerheads to embark upon Durham for their collegiate playing career. As the previously mentioned players have subsequently moved on and advanced in life, their respective passion for kicks hasn’t yet subsided as Shelden Williams caught up with our very own George Kiel in an episode of Sneak Peek.
