Grant Hill‘s first signature sneaker with FILA is making another appearance, and its release was recently celebrated in New York City. The FILA 95 was launched last night at an event that was hosted by well-known sneaker icon DJ Clark Kent. Showcased in 16 glass cubes that hovered behind a 30 foot long bar, the FILA 95 was on full display just as it was in 1995 when its poster boy won the NBA Rookie of the Year award. On top of highlighting the iconic 95, FILA also previewed their Fall 2013 HERITAGE Line, which includes correlating footwear and active wear. Also shown at the release event was FILA’s Rise of the Independents video series, which included spots on Nice Kicks and other key sneaker retailers.
