FILA‘s undisputed silhouette leader was so well-received this past March that it is making another quickstrike appearance for the holidays. The classic white and navy FILA 96 that Grant Hill made into an icon sold out when it made a retro run earlier this year, and has now been slightly remixed to create the upcoming FILA 96 “Varsity”. Maintaining the same color blocking as the original, this version features new varsity jacket accents. Slightly adjusted chenille trapezoid logos add seasonal separation, while a logo printed design covers the inner lining. Stitched tongue tags add detail, and the traditional navy blue patent leather stripe is swapped out for navy FILAbuck to add a new twist on the model. Don’t get left in the cold, get a pair of the very limited varsity jacket 96s December 12th at select retailers, including Nice Kicks, and FILA.com at midnight.
