Kyrie Irving

Year: 2015
Matchup: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics
Stat Line: 30 Points, 2 Assists, 3 Rebounds

Kyrie, Kyrie, Kyrie…did you have to disrespect Evan Turner like that at the end of the half?! For goodness sake, it was a Sunday afternoon and kids were watching. However, in your defense, it made for incredible entertainment as your shake and bake that ended in a buzzer-beating three further cemented an illustrious first half in your playoff debut.

Now as I refrain from speaking “directly” to Kyrie, Mr. Irving’s playoff debut fell in line with the likes of Shaquille O’Neal and Chris Paul as it also marked the season in which they debuted their inaugural signature silhouette. As Irving has done on plenty of occasions this season, his PE model of the Nike Kyrie 1 was a show-stopper on Sunday, fusing together Cavs aesthetics along a mostly white upper.
