Chris Paul

Year: 2008
Matchup: New Orleans Hornets vs. Dallas Mavericks
Stat Line: 35 Points and 10 Assists

When I tell you, I literally witnessed Chris Paul ascend to proverbial levels of point “GAWD” status; believe me. I’ll never forget the helpless feeling of watching my Mavericks get torched by a crafty point guard that had all the makings of a new era Isaiah Thomas. Nonetheless, Chris Paul’s playoff debut in 2008 was one for the ages as he dropped 35 points on future Hall of Famer, Jason Kidd. Along with the buckets, he dished out 10 assists in a Hornets PE of the inaugural Jordan CP3.

I promise you, I can still hear the Rick Flair “Woooooo,” in my dreams. Why, Chris Paul?!
