By many measures – to include ours – the Union x Air Jordan 1 was the sneaker of the year in 2018.

Last summer, we found out there likely won’t be a footwear follow-up in 2019 — which there wasn’t — but 2020 could play host to a very anticipated sneaker sequel.

Just how? In a conversation with Complex, Union’s own Chris Gibbs shed some light on what’s next from Union and Jordan Brand.

In the interview, Gibbs states that the partnership “will continue” and that they’ve “submitted designs for both apparel and for footwear.”

Following the clothing collab that came with the Air Jordan 1, their next range of apparel was said to see similar styling based on what’s been revealed though the next proposed drop is said to be “a bit more risky.”

As for shoes, Gibbs has his eyes set on the Air Jordan 4 though it’s “not 100% confirmed yet.”

In a recent string of Tweets, Retweets and Replies, Union further hinted – or basically confirmed – that the Union x Air Jordan 4 is coming in 2020, legally they probably can’t officially say that.

Said Air Jordan 4 and apparel collection should be slated for this spring or summer though it’s not confirmed at this point.

Hyped for a Union x Air Jordan 4 collab? We sure are. Keep it locked to Nice Kicks for updates on this potential collab.
