John Wall is blazing fast. While that adjective may be a little anti-climatic for a variety of reasons, the addition of Paul Pierce to an already solid Washington Wizards roster has solidified Wall and the Wiz’s chances to contendĀ for a title. In addition to Wall’s aforementioned speed, the guard’s stellar defense has placed the Wiz amongst the best in the league, while Wall continues to dazzle on offense as well, as his season averages of 17 points per game, 10 assists and 4 rebounds, has made Wall an All-NBA candidate.

However, Wall’s illustrious, and at times tumultuous sneaker journey makes him a candidate for Kentucky’s All-Time 5. Coming out of Kentucky, Wall inked a deal with iconic footwear brand Reebok in order to follow in the footsteps of his childhood idol Allen Iverson. Through Wall’s first year, the North Carolina-native sported a variety of Reebok silhouettes such as the Reebok Question. Ultimately, through various uncertainties, Wall and a few other notable players ended up with adidas; thus creating a solid roster for the Three Stripes brand. Fast forward to 2014, Wall has garnered his very own signature model, the adidas J Wall 1 and secured a spot on our list. Things seem to be going well for Wall and company.
