Upon his arrival into the league, plenty of media pundits elaborated on all of the things Rajon Rondo couldn’t do. However, fast forward nearly ten years later and the lanky point guard from Louisville, Kentucky has easily cemented himself as being one of the best point guards within the entire NBA; and to be honest, that’s been true for some time now. Nonetheless, despite Rondo being considered a “veteran” at this point in his career, his sneaker rotation has not subsided since his arrival within the Association.

Starting with Reebok, Rondo immediately caught the attention of sneaker enthusiasts as he helped the Celtics defeat the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2008 NBA Finals while sporting a variety of Reebok Basketball PE’s. Within the next year, Rondo would make the switch over to Nike, and in successive years would sport a variety of notable silhouettes such as the Nike Hyperposite, Nike Foampostie One, Air Jordan 9, and the Nike Huarache 2k4 silhouettes, respectively. While the Nike PEs can be impeccable, Rondo decided to make the unprecedented move and inked a deal with Chinese brand footwear Anta, in which Rondo was able to garner his very own signature model, which became the Anta Rondo and the Anta Rondo 2. Going forward, this stellar guard makes the Dallas Mavericks a formidable power in the Western Conference, and his quality, yet consistent sneaker rotation secures his spot within our list.
