3. Nick Young – Nick Young has proven that he simply does it for his affinity of sneakers; not because he wants to impress. For that reason, Young seems to always be in our top 3 year after year. This season, however, has been different in regards to his footwear choices on court. While he works through a new contract situation, P has brought out a mixture of adidas gems and Nikes throughout the month of November. Wears of the extremely limited “Vote for Gilbert” adidas TS Lightswitch, FILA Mashburn, Reebok Answer I and the Nike Air Zoom Generation – all in the same month – reminds us of the aforementioned Gilbert Arenas campaign of 2010-2011. Once his contract sets in, he’ll obviously be limited to that brand’s footwear (whomever that may be), but it would be great to see this continued variety. Either way, Young will find a way to keep it swaggy.
