The Good, The Bad, The Fugly

One of my favorite parts of the week, The Good, The Bad, and The Fugly has once again arrived. No, not because it means it is the weekend, more so because I get to see how all of you feel about some of the notable releases for the week. Plus its guaranteed that some of you are going to disagree with the choices, and some of you have some good reasoning behind your choices. So keep letting us know what you think. I’ll be picking a few of the best readers choices each week as winners of some Nice Kicks gear, so check back in the comments section frequently.

The Good

This Air Jordan Flight 45 will probably be one of the most hated choices for many of you. Hear me out, yes, Jordan Brand over-uses the AJ3 sole, yes they over-use elephant print. However, consider the footwear game. Every company has to use its signature features, from the Chuck Taylor to Supra extra high tops, to the Reebok Pump.

This shoe is a creative “new” silhouette, it may have familiarities, but the fact that it is not just another classic Jordan colorway slapped onto a clear Air Force 1 sole, or another mish-mash of classics (see this weeks “The Bad”), is a good thing in my opinion. Those are to predictable, we’ve seen them, we know they’re coming. I commend JB for pushing a new silhouette that isn’t just another hybrid, but you all can start hating on me now.
