English fashion designer Stella McCartney and German sportswear giant adidas continue their collaborative efforts, this time with an updated take on the latter’s UltraBOOST 22. Unlike the duo’s past team-ups, which included sleek knitted uppers and 4D printed soles, this offering offers something entirely new.
What differentiates this Stella McCartney x adidas UltraBOOST 22 is the silhouette’s outer cage, which looks almost inflated, that wraps around the model’s profile. Underneath is a knit bootie with a sock-like collar, which has additionally been seen on the duo’s AlphaEdge 4D. Rounding out the final details is adidas’ Trefoil logo and “Stella McCartney” branding on the profiles.
