Womenswear designer Stella McCartney has one of the longest standing collaborative partnerships with adidas Originals.
It spans multiple seasons and reaches both apparel and footwear, the latter of course serving as a staple for adidas come spring/summer.
Her latest release takes the current Futurecraft 4D wave and refines its already contemporary approach to design language. An extended ankle collar brings a sock-like aesthetic to the knit structure which is largely hued in a stark noir theme. The 4D midsole maintains its traditional beige color alongside a black Continental outsole underneath.
Stella subtly brands the ankle collar with her name while a sleek wrap lines the lace collar snaking upwards towards the heel. Take a first look at the Stella McCartney x adidas Alphaedge 4D below and expect the release sometime next month.
