Earlier today, Skechers unveiled its latest collection of Star Wars shoes and let’s just say that even a swagless George Lucas is probably catching feelings.
The collection features Star Wars imagery and icons across a variety of Wal-Mart looking kids silhouettes along with some clear bites on product by Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Vans, and Converse. Adidas and Vans were the two most recent major brands to be issued the coveted license controlled by Disney.
Young Jedi’s aren’t immune from high pricing on the shoes either. The range of headturning (for the wrong reason) shoes will set the little one back anywhere from $43-$65 if their parents feel so inclined to purchase them from Skechers.com.
With such an iconic film that transcends generations, it is truly a sad day for Star Wars sneakerheads to see that this is what Star Wars cosigns its young fans should wear.
