News of the Nike Air Max Penny 1 returning in 2022 OG colorways broke last year and looks like Penny Hardaway’s first signature sneaker is getting a collaboration as well with Social Status that’s scheduled to drop later this year.
The sneaker features a grey nubuck upper with chalk-white suede overlays and black piping and lining. The standout feature is the 5 removable Swooshes on the lateral side, all representing a different sport. The Penny logo is seen on the tongue and heel with a jeweled Swoosh seen on the toe with a black and grey pulltab on the tongue and heel. The heel features Nike and Social Status co-branding, replacing the Penny logo and the midsole is featured in grey as well to match the upper with an Air Max unit in the heel and Zoom Air in the forefoot and a white outsole to finish off the sneaker.
After dropping at Social Status, the Social Status x Nike Air Max Penny 1 “Recess” is dropping on July 22nd via SNKRS and at select retailers for $190.
