Japanese luxury fashion brand sacai, helmed by Chitose Abe, is auctioning off customized pairs of its collaborative Nike LDWaffle to help support the fight against COVID-19.
Joining forces with the newly established imprint Protege Ton Soignant, a non-profit organization helping to raise funds for COVID-19 relief, sacai will be auctioning two customized versions of its latest collaborative Nike LDWaffle. Available in either a black or white colorway, both sacai x Nike LDWaffle iterations feature a suede and nylon constructed upper and a white exaggerated midsole. Rounding out the limited pairs are blue laces and “Protege Ton Soignant” embroidered into the lateral wall.
The auction is currently running until Monday, May 4 via La Mode S’Engage site. All proceeds will immediately go towards hospitals in need across France.
