Queens native Ronnie Fieg is expanding his Kith empire to Miami, as the entrepreneur announced today that he’ll be opening a new storefront in the southern state later this year.
“It will be a new market for us, a market we know very well,” Fieg expressed. “I’m excited to expand outside of New York with our city’s mentality and help bring some of our culture elsewhere. Miami has been extremely welcoming in the past and that is why I will give this new space my all to make sure the people of Miami have a new home to come to.”
Kith and Miami, as Fieg mentioned, have a history together. It’s one that has seen pop up shops and art exhibitions at the hands of the New York-based retailer over the past few years. Kith Miami will be executed, as the NYC location was, by Snarkitecture.
