Swapped for Stackhouse, a rising Rip found his home in the Motor City. A consistent cog on the balanced Bad Boys II cast, Hamilton’s “if I’m tired, he’s exhausted” work ethic off the ball made him one of the best, most endured shooters to ever come off a curl. A dedicated diet and resilient rhythm made him a 3x All-Star in the D, with fans flocking to his #32 jersey and packing the Palace at every home game.

On foot, Rip became a fixture of Jordan Brand, rotating retros with PEs, team takes and new signatures. Hamilton was occasionally a member of #teamearly, breaking out the “Flint” 13s long before they came back, but mostly juicing the Jumpman via modern performance models. His PE pairs of the Air Jordan 2, Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 12, Air Jordan 13, Air Jordan 14 and Air Jordan XX1 shine as standouts during his Pistons days, while he even mixed it up midway during his tenure by bringing out ’04 and ’05’s Huarache models.
