A man of his word, Playboi Carti stayed rocking that Rick in the video for his hit single and pretty much song of the summer, “Magnolia.”
The star studded video by AWGE is full of flavor from a sneaker standpoint, with famous friends like A$AP Rocky, A$AP Twelvyy and NAV all making cameos as the streets of New York rock the likes of atmos x Nike Air Max 1s, Van Sk8-His and Air Jordans ranging from 1 to 16.
Still, Carti is draped in black and white Rick Owens DRKSHDW Ramone sneakers as the shoe connects to the lyrics as well as his mentor A$AP Rocky’s ties to the famed designer. As you may remember, a young Flacko Jodye name-dropped Rick on his breakout single “Peso,” while later tapping the fashion rebel and his wife for visual assistance on his album At Long Last A$AP.
