College

Just as Michael Jordan was open to his UNC and Converse roots, Victor Oladipo and Tim Hardaway Jr. respect the Three Stripes. Playing at rival Big Ten schools who were endorsed by adidas (Indiana and Michigan), both first rounders were the beneficiaries of exclusive PEs and gear that was made specifically for their respective teams. Although each of them weren’t fully committed to the brand off of the court, they both expressed their liking of adidas’ performance capabilities, which made the brand an option after college.

Victor Oladipo: “In college, we were adidas, so I had to wear all D Roses. But I always wore Js off the court.”

Tim Hardaway Jr.: “[Wearing adidas at Michigan] helped a lot. Everybody is Nike, so it’s something different. adidas is striving to [challenge] their competitors and it seems like they’re going in the right direction. I just want to be a part of it and make the most of my opportunity with them.”
