| Reigning MVP winner Kobe Bryant will be dropping his fourth signature sneaker, the Nike Zoom Kobe 4, on January 17th, 2009.
Possessing some very unique qualities, this sneaker does not look like a typical basketball sneaker. Wrapped in a Los Angeles Lakers colorway, this sneaker features a black leather upper with purple and yellow accents on the swoosh, shoelaces, and heel. Another interesting feature is the translucent midsole and the black reptile print found on the toe box and heel area. The words “Carpe Diem???, which means ???seize the day??? in Latin, is imprinted, in gold, on the tongue of the shoe. A white version is expected to drop later in 2009.
