One of the most coveted Nike KD 4 colorways is coming back as the Nike KD 4 “Weatherman” is releasing in Summer 2024. The original Nike KD 4 “Weatherman” released back in 2011 as the colorway drew from Durant’s aspirations to become a weatherman.
“I always wanted to be a weatherman when I was growing up. I like natural disasters, so they made a very nice shoe around that theme,” he told Nice Kicks back in 2011.
The shoe’s predominantly green upper with black details is complemented with a weather radar graphic in orange, yellow, and green emdash bringing the “Weatherman” forecast to life.
The upcoming retro is just the latest from the KD 4 resurgence as the “Battle Tested” released in 2018, and now the “Galaxy” Nike KD 4 and the “Year of the Dragon 2.0” Nike KD 4 will make a long-awaited appearance.
