Nike Basketball is bringing more back from the vault next year as the famed Nike KD 4 “Galaxy” will be returning in 2024, sources tell Nice Kicks.
The return of the outer space-themed colorway accompanies the recent news of the rumored Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” return, which will also occur next year. The KD 4 and the Foamposite headlined the “Galaxy” pack during All-Star Weekend in Orlando in 2012. The pack also included the Nike LeBron 9 “Big Bang” (which was retroed in 2022) and the Nike Kobe 7 “Galaxy” colorway.

The flight suit-inspired Nike KD 4 was coated in a silver upper with vibrant orange details, a cosmic-themed midsole, and a glow-in-the-dark outsole. More than a decade after its initial launch, the Nike KD 4 “Galaxy” will take off again.
One feature the “Galaxy” Nike Zoom KD4 had that was a favorite amongst many sneakerheads was the glow-in-the-dark outsole that lent itself to many iconic sneaker photos of the time.

The shoe was regularly worn by fellow DMV legend Wale who appeared a few times on Celebrity Sneaker Stalker with shoes from the 2012 Nike Galaxy collection.

2K fans rejoiced when they got the shoes in NBA 2K13.

A release date for the Nike KD 4 “Galaxy” has not been announced. However, we anticipate releasing the pair in Summer 2024 on SNKRS and at select retailers.
