Nike is rumored to bring back an iconic Foamposite colorway next year as the Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” is rumored to return in 2024, according to ZSneakerheadz and Sneaker Files.

The galactical iteration of the Foamposite was first released in Orlando during All-Star Weekend as a nod to both Penny Hardaway and the Kennedy Space Center. The release in 2012 captured sneakerheads with its “Remove Before Flight” tag, glow-in-the-dark outsole, and outer space-themed upper. Its scarcity, out-of-this-world makeup, and storytelling components delivered a grail status-worthy release at the pinnacle of Nike Basketball’s dominance in fashion & culture during the 2010s.

The return of the “Galaxy” Foamposite adds to the silhouette’s current momentum as Penny Hardaway’s Foamposite PE recently made its retail debut while the “Red Metallic” Foam returns this summer.

Whether copping for nostalgic purposes or jumping on the Foam hype, the return of the Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” will be one of the top releases in 2024.

A release date nor price point for the 2024 Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” have not been announced. The pair is expected to release on SNKRS and select retailers.
