The Nike Air Max Sensation released in 1995 as the first Nike signature shoe for Chris Webber.? Unfortunately for Nike and Webber they would be his last signature shoe with the Swoosh, as Webber left Nike and dropped the Sensation because they were priced more than the current Air Jordan model.? Webber felt that his shoe should never cost more than that of MJ and was upset with the high price point.? Never the less, the Air Max Sensation are a classic Nike basketball shoe and have since been retroed with out the “CW” logo on the back.
