Nike is making the Nike Air Max Penny 1 an emphasis in 2022 with the Orlando colorways in Home and Away as well as a collaboration with Social Status on the way and another OG colorway in the All-Star colorway is dropping later this year.
Originally worn by Penny Hardaway in the 1996 NBA All-Star Game and last retroed in 2014, the sneaker features a black nubuck upper with a bootie system utilized for lockdown. Atlantic Blue accents the sneaker on the contrast stitching found throughout as well as surrounding the Swoosh on the tongue. Penny’s logo is stitched on the heel with a jeweled Swoosh on the lateral side of the wing. A black midsole with Zoom Air in the forefoot and an Air Max unit in the heel finishes off the sneaker.
